By Roxana Tiron – The Hill – October 27, 2005

House Armed Services Chairman Duncan Hunter (R-Calif.) has asked the Pentagon’s inspector general to investigate why the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) revoked the top security clearance of a whistle-blower involved in a classified intelligence cell that may have identified the Sept. 11 terrorists a year before the attacks.

Army Reserve Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer, who has said that a military unit called Able Danger identified four Sept. 11 hijackers before the 2001 attacks, is facing Pentagon accusations that he broke military rules.

Able Danger warned of attack on USS Cole

NORRISTOWN – Senior Pentagon officials were warned not to let the USS Cole dock in Yemen two days before terrorists attacked the ship five years ago killing 17 sailors, according to Congressman Curt Weldon, who said the crucial intelligence was gleaned from the former secret defense operation, “Able Danger.”

Weldon, vice chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, revealed the information in a House speech last Wednesday evening that blasted the Defense Intelligence Agency’s (DIA) attempts to discredit Army Reserve Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer, a DIA employee who worked as a liaison with the “Able Danger” team.

In June, Shaffer told The Times Herald during an interview on Capitol Hill that the now-defunct data mining operation had linked Sept. 11 hijacker Mohamed Atta to an al-Qaida cell in Brooklyn in 2000 – more than a year before the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

UK Book “911 REVEALED” favorably reviewed by Independent Called Misinformation by U.S. State Department

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 6:29 am

Ian Henshall — 27 October 2005

The explosive book 911 Revealed has achieved another first: it is the leading topic in The US State Department’s global “misinformation” page, where an unknown writer denounces the book as “putting forth bizarre conspiracy theories about the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States” and giving “credence to a hodgepodge of sinister, unfounded allegations”. But the authors say that the State Department’s allegations against the book are themselves misinformation.

Whistleblower Has Elite Interests Running Scared

In the Edmonds case, it’s not just “sensitive foreign relations” that are on the line, it’s the Americans who are doing the sensitive relating. Indeed, a glance at the bigwigs involved in the American-Turkish Council reveals a panoply of hawks, former ambassadors and generals, and numerous lights of the three Bush administrations: the ATC Board of Directors chair is Brent Scowcroft, erstwhile national security adviser to Bush père; Dick Cheney himself is a former member, and many of his former colleagues at Halliburton remain on board, as do higher-ups at Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Sikorsky, Northrop Grumman, Boeing, and Eli Lilly.

If people know of Sibel Edmonds at all, they know her as an FBI whistleblower. Since mid-2002, her face has graced newspapers across America; she’s testified before numerous senators and had her deposition subpoenaed by family members of 9/11 victims; as late as September 2005, Vanity Fair devoted 11 pages to her. Yet almost no one can tell you what she has to say. Like a star in a silent movie, Edmonds has been cast as the heroine in a legal drama whose details are obscure.

Theologian Says Controlled Demolition is Now a Fact, Not a Theory

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 12:20 am

In two speeches to overflow crowds in New York last weekend, notable theologian David Ray Griffin argued that recently revealed evidence seals the case that the Twin Towers and WTC-7 were destroyed by controlled demolition with explosives. Despite the many enduring mysteries of the 9/11 attacks, Dr. Griffin concluded, “It is already possible to know, beyond a reasonable doubt, one very important thing: the destruction of the World Trade Center was an inside job, orchestrated by terrorists within our own government.”

Leading Theologian Speaks Out On 9/11

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 10:35 am

Even after four years, controversy over the events of 9/11 continues to surface in the news. We recently witnessed the honest questioning of the official account by a FDNY Muslim chaplain that gave rise to a storm of intolerance and deflection of any actual and legitimate inquiry into the official account of the attacks. Even more recent was the refusal by the CIA Director Porter Goss to investigate people within the agency who played key roles and should have acted on important information but didn’t.

In the wake of these developments, on Oct. 15th and 16th, New Yorkers filled two venues to hear a prominent theologian and author of two books on 9/11. David Ray Griffin, gave a presentation titled “The Destruction of the Trade Towers: A Christian Theologian Speaks Out”.

“Able Danger” & 9/11 Foreknowledge

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 10:21 am

by William F. Jasper — October 31, 2005

The ongoing coverup concerning the secret Able Danger operation provides further evidence that the “war on terror” is a farce.

There was nothing in outward appearance to draw attention to the four-bedroom apartment at 54 Marienstrasse. Nonetheless, the attention of the intelligence services of Germany, the U.S., Israel, and other Middle Eastern and European countries had been drawn to the nondescript flat in Hamburg, Germany, as early as 1998. That was when Mohammed Atta signed the lease and he and Ramzi bin al Shibh moved in. Soon thereafter, it was identified by intelligence agencies as a target of interest. It became known as the hub of al-Qaeda’s “Hamburg Cell.”
