the program was very well recieved. We promise more Q&A next time.
It was a great, if somewhat chaotic team effort, that came together
in short order. Thanks to each of you who came out of the woodwork last
minute to help pull it together so well in the end. Thanks to our

What a strange world this is.
How strange to feel hope on this day of pain, loss and remembrance. But yet, on this day of all days, I am re-kindled with hope for our future. I speak here of the growing chorus of truth-seekers who are finally coming out of the woodwork : providing more sure an indicator of hope than any other, that such attacks may never happen again.

What a difference a week makes! A second major paper bites the 9/11 “conspiracy” bullet and dares to request a little truth.
On September 11th, the Philadelphia Daily News ran the following breakthrough article by staff writer Bill Bunch. How about send him and the PDN editorial crew some “it’s about damn time, but still pretty cool” messages of support…
WHY DON’T WE HAVE ANSWERS TO THESE 9/11 QUESTIONS?

NO EVENT IN recent history has been written about, talked about, or watched and rewatched as much as the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 – two years ago today.
Not only was it the deadliest terrorist strike inside America, but the hijackings and attacks on New York City’s World Trade Center and the Pentagon in Washington were also a seminal event for an information-soaked media age of Internet access and 24- hour news.
So, why after 730 days do we know so little about what really happened that day?

OK, it’s only PBS (and Moyer’s minor fraction at that); and Gail Sheehy had to poison taste the story in NY before they would even touch it; and according to Mindy Kleinberg. out of the 16 hours filmed with them, NOW only used the softest, limpest stuff; and even so NOW felt obliged to jokingly intro the piece with a lot of “conspiracy theory” badinage. But EVEN SO, it’s the first time on American television that the “official 9/11 story” and the government’s bizarre response have been questioned or attacked.

Why is it that most of the ballsy journalists these days are women? Gail Sheehy was the first US reporter with the cojones to let 9/11 victim family members who have done their homework go public with their “official story”-busting views.
On 8/25 in the front page of the New York Observer, her ““Four 9/11 Moms Battle Bush” story went where no other US paper had ever dared to tread. Follow her into the darkness of truth. Bill Moyers finally did…

On Saturday, September 6th, MP Michael Meacher, Britain’s longtime Environment Minister, published an explosive op-ed in the UK Guardian entitled “This War on Terrorism is Bogus” which accused the US of allowing 9/11 to happen to incite public support for preplanned Mideast invasions and an ultra-right agenda for world hegemony. The story causeed a “furor” in Britain and spread lile wildfire through the Middle East, Europe, Asia and the Third World. Only American readers were shut out of the news by US corporate media “restraint”. It’s about time America read what the rest of the world is talking about. If you think this is “newsworthy”, please spread it around as best you can…

Sept. 8, 2003 | The film “DC 9/11: Time of Crisis,” which premiered Sunday night on Showtime, is a mind-numbingly boring, revisionist, two-hour-long wish list of how 9/11 might have gone if we had real leaders in the current administration. This film is rated half of a fighter jet — since that is about what we got for our nation’s defense on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001.

My name is Mindy Kleinberg. My husband Alan Kleinberg, 39 yrs old, was killed in the WTC on September 11, 2001. As I testify here today about the 9/11 attacks, I will begin by saying that my thoughts are very much with the men and women who are involved in armed conflict overseas and their families who wait patiently for them to return.

(Manhattan) Two years after the World Trade Center attacks, a documentary film exhibition and panel featuring former Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney is to seriously challenge the official story and response to 9/11. The post-film panel will also examine alternative but credible narratives for what happened that day and why.
